The Badminton Confederation Africa (BCA) is proud to announce a new and exciting partnership with Yonex, one of the most respected badminton brands in the world. This partnership will help support the development of badminton across Africa and bring new hope and opportunities to many athletes and communities on the continent.
The Badminton Confederation Africa (BCA) is pleased to announce the 7th BCA Para Badminton Workshop, to be held from 27 to 29 September 2025 in Abia State, Nigeria.
The workshop will consist of two parallel components:

Xiamen, CHINA –Yonex is honored to support the Badminton Confederation of Africa (BCA) through a new equipment agreement designed to empower athletes and communities across the continent. This agreement represents an important step in supporting the development of badminton across Africa. Through this partnership, BCA and Yonex aim to grow badminton in Africa by working together and creating new opportunities.
In an effort to make Airbadminton, popular as the main stream badminton, Uganda badminton Association has partnered with Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA). "Badminton is now among the sports activities that are being examined as a PE Sport, under the Uganda National Education Board, and therefore as the National Governing body it is our obligation to technically facilitate the schools in this area of growth so that schools adopt the sport for both academic and recreation purposes."
